This is only Kims third day practicing on the pottery wheel. Jimmy, Donald, and Derrik were given the dirty job of recycling clay.

Avella Artists Made it --NATIONAL --when they were given the opportunity to create this year's "Jamboree in the Hills, 30th anniversary Poster".

Kim Boni - 8th grade, 2006 Seniors- Jake Simons and Lauren Mitchell.

1000 copies of their poster were made and will be sold at the Jamboree in the Hills. Their poster is also the cover of this year's souvenir program and 25,000 copies were printed to distribute at the Jamboree in the Hills.

Each of the 3 students and Ms. Miller received passes to the Jamboree in the Hills. The students are able to bring along an adult to join them on their exciting Saturday and Sunday event.

AVELLA HIGH SCHOOL , Ms. Miller, Kim Boni, and Jake Simons were all given a special thanks and recognition in the Souvenir Program. The Live Nation Wheeling General Manager, Kelly Tucker-Jones, and the head of Promotional/Media, Shannon Wall, said this year's Jamboree Poster was absolutely the BEST they have ever seen and are glad they had the help of AVELLA HIGH SCHOOL.

The 30th year anniversary poster will be permanently displayed in Wheeling's museum along with the Posters from the previous 29 years. Avella Jr. Sr. High School and the artists were also printed on the front cover of the Washington-Observer's Entertainment section on July, 14, 06.
